8 May 2016
Green technologies and sustainable home improvements will be on show to the public at homes in and around Market Harborough. Find inspiration from low cost, replicable adaptations to the more expensive, high tech installations and speak directly with the householders to get impartial practical advice.
Please note that this event has now finished.
Sustainable Harborough are helping householders open up their homes on Sunday 8th May 2016 to share their experiences of using green technologies and sustainable living practices to inspire and advise others.
This will be the third year that Harborough Green Open Homes has run. Visitors who came along to last year’s event said they felt better informed about eco-renovation, they gained impartial, practical advice about how to tackle sustainable home improvements thanks to the experience and advice shared by the open home hosts.
This year we would like to expand the network, new households can join our group to find out more about what the event entails, ways of raising awareness and how to prepare for it. If you would like to get involved please contact us.
This year we are asking people to book a time slot to view each home that they would like to see. Booking is free and straightforward. Please simply email or call the Sustainable Harborough office and let us know which house you would like to view during which time slot.
In the table below, the green shading shows when each home is open:
|Slots||Victorian terrace||Rural Edwardian||Victorian detached||Victorian semi||1920s semi|
You can book right up until the morning of Sunday 8th May.
